Music is one of the most beautiful forms of art that humans have ever created. Music has the power to move hearts, music has the strength to knit otherwise different souls into a beautiful fabric of humanity. Music connects people; it makes us laugh; it makes us cry; it is our companion when we have no companion. So let’s take some time to appreciate the 10 most influential singers of Bollywood till date. The list is in no particular order and based upon my personal opinions. So there’s no need to be upset if your favorite singer isn’t on the list.

 Mohammed Rafi

You cannot call yourself an Indian if you haven’t heard a Mohammed Rafi song in your life. With his sweet tenor voice, pitch-perfect singing, Mohammed Rafi became the undisputable singing maestro. Immortalized in songs like Kya Hua Tera Wada, and Likhe Jo Khat Tujhe, his voice still continues to echo in the ears of millions of Indians all over the world.

Kishore Kumar began his journey as an actor but soon after he tried his hand at singing. In spite of having no professional training whatsoever, Kishore Kumar became a household name and people are still humming his songs to this date. Sonu Nigam

Born to parents who were professional singers, Sonu Nigam displayed great potential ever since he was a little child. While the elder sister Lata Mangeshkar was blessed with an innocent voice, Asha Bhosle’s voice had some innate naughtiness to it.
