Dell says its 2-in-1 shipments surged by 48 percent in the first quarter of 2017 and the new 2-in-1 devices are seen as a way to fuel the sales. The detachable offers 8GB RAM and an option for up to 256GB SSD storage. It also supports Microsoft’s Windows Hello facial recognition system for login and supports encryption as well as malware protection. The Dell Latitude 7285 can also be configured with mobile broadband options.
